Arcade grabber machine, stickers, fabric, toy guns, 197 x 115 x 100cm}

Playland explores how war-themed games and toys shape our understanding of violence from a young age. By reimagining a familiar arcade claw machine and filling it with toy guns, the installation highlights how easily violence becomes packaged as entertainment, and how these early associations can follow us into adulthood.

As the machine is originally designed to generate profit, all proceeds collected during the exhibition were donated to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Their ongoing efforts allow my family and friends to continue their lives and enables me to continue my artistic practice.
